Padding - To Use Or Not To Use

Box Model Bug
I myself have been caught out on this several times and so I have decided to do something that some people may seem drastic but I personally think could solve the problem of padding differences between browsers. My solution is to NOT USE padding unless totally necessary.
I have read several blogs, work arounds and peoples views about how to solve the problem and frankly until IE change their way and stand I think the best solution is to get rid of padding and boycott it totally. Problem with hacks is that it is like putting a band aid on an open gapping wound. Just stay away from it and you will not need to worry about it.
