Australia vs New Zealand 14/12 - 20/12
Officially called the Chappell-Hadlee Series which is played yearly between New Zealand and Australia. While a lot seem to enjoy this series and want it to continue, I personally count it as a waste of time.
The Australia squad is: Adam Gilchrist (wk), Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, Brad Haddin, James Hopes, Brad Hogg, Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Tait, Nathan Bracken.
The New Zealand squad is: Daniel Vettori (capt), Brendon McCallum (wk), Craig Cumming, Mark Gillespie, Gareth Hopkins, Jaime How, Chris Martin, Michael Mason, Kyle Mills, Jacob Oram, Jeetan Patel, Mathew Sinclair, Scott Styris, Ross Taylor, Lou Vincet.
This series should be good as New Zealand are the one team in One Day International games that regular challenge and give Australia trouble with their spin and medium pace attack.
Why do I think this series is a waste of time?
I know many do not agree with me and thats OK but why do we have to play New Zealand every year and only play other teams every 3 odd years? Ok yes Australia are at least playing a decent side unlike India and Sri Lanka regularly playing Bangladesh but it reaks of money being the most important factor instead of competitive cricket.

The New Zealand coach is already playing games like he usually does against Australia with apparent suspect over Taits action
