Bianca Wilson’s cityscape paintings will appeal to lovers of geometric patterns and soft colors

She travels a lot (or at least she used to), visiting places such as London, Tokyo and Osaka, determined to “gain as much knowledge as possible about the similarities, differences, features and functionality. of these artificial structures ”.

In her latest series of paintings, Urban Landscapes, we see that Bianca is drawn to serial architectural elements which, when painted on canvas, result in repeated geometric patterns: “Whether in the form of rows of terraced houses, spiral stairwells or distant windows in the city skyline, ”she explains. She removes details from a particular landscape and bathes them in a sunrise or sunset glow, transforming the mundane into glorious structures that are often overlooked.

His work just might make you look at cities in a whole new light. Discover more of her work on www.biwils.com or follow her on Instagram.
