Nature, love and relationships are explored in this year’s list of top-rated works of art
Wichita, Kansas – December 22, 2021 – As 2021 draws to a close, overstockArt.com – an oil painting reproduction giant – has compiled a list of the 10 most popular paintings of the year chosen by the platform’s online customer base.
Although the originals were created over a span of over 400 years, they share key themes that continue to appeal to art lovers today: the power and beauty of nature, and the exploration of love and relationships.
The Top Ten artists are primarily from continental Europe, with iconic painters from France, the Netherlands, Austria, Russia and Italy joined by John William Waterhouse from Great Britain and Harry Roseland from the United States.
